The way I work:
Being an integrative therapist is about making use of the valuable contributions made by the various schools of counselling rather than be limited by just one approach. This way of working helps me bring together the ideas from a broad range of therapies to best meet the client’s needs. The way I work is jargon-free, flexible, warm and down to earth. My aim is to recognise the experience of each individual and to treat them with respect and integrity without making assumptions based on race, age, sexual orientation, class, physical ability, gender or spiritual beliefs.
I always offer a calm, peaceful and confidential space where people can explore their difficulties, and a professional relationship in which I hope people will feel supported, valued and understood.
I hold a BSc (Honours) in Integrative Counselling awarded by Roehampton University and approved by the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
After six years of clinical experience I became a Registered and Accredited Member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. This is very important to you as it means that I am bound to their ethical framework and code of conduct to assure you that your therapy will be practised to a good high professional standard.
I have worked as a Counsellor and Psychotherapist at the busiest sexual health clinic in the heart of Soho (NHS) and Naz Project London with ethnic and sexual minority groups.
I am also approved by health insurers Aviva, Pruhealth and WPA.
My fees are £60 per hour.
